It was Ruskin Bond's travel stories that would create the scenes of the buzzing platform, the aroma of kullads and the garam pagkodas, rusty looking at it all the bread pakodas and the shouts of vendors and the frenzy of travellers, percolating it all and oozing out his words on papers which would make these scenes immortal to be read again and again to understand the chaos of travel and the beauty of it.
